Competition manipulation poses a direct threat to the ethos of sport. 

In response to the growing scale and sophistication of this crime, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have collaborated to create “A Practical Guide to the Prosecution of Cases of Competition Manipulation”.  This comprehensive guide examines the challenges associated with the prosecution of such cases and sets out a recommended framework for effective action.  The guide is proving to be an invaluable resource for prosecutors engaged in the broader effort to detect and fight against corruption of sports.
